In celebration of World Optometry Day and its theme, “A Shared Vision: Collaboration in Global Eye Care,” the Semester VI Optometry students organized a successful vision screening camp at Innovators School System.
Under the expert supervision of Dr. Nida Amin (Head of Department) and Dr. Arooba Ehsan, the camp provided comprehensive eye examinations to over 200 students. The screenings included visual acuity assessment, color vision testing, and contrast sensitivity evaluation, ensuring a thorough analysis of each participant’s eye health.
This initiative reflects our institution’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and preventive eye care. By emphasizing early detection and awareness, the program not only served the local community but also offered students valuable hands-on clinical experience.
Through such collaborative efforts, we continue to nurture the next generation of skilled optometrists while contributing meaningfully to the advancement of global eye health.
