GIU Welcomes Prof. Dr. Nessar Ahmed from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK)


Green International University (GIU) had the honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. Nessar Ahmed, Reader in Clinical Biochemistry at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), United Kingdom. The delegation was received by the Department of Medical Sciences, followed by an official meeting with the Pro-Rector of GIU.

The Pro-Rector extended a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Nessar Ahmed and shared GIU’s academic vision, its evolving educational ecosystem, and the university’s strong focus on skill development, applied learning, and professional growth. He emphasized the university’s commitment to designing programs that meet emerging industrial needs and align with global academic standards.

Prof. Dr. Nessar Ahmed offered valuable international insights and discussed advanced academic practices implemented at MMU. He appreciated GIU’s direction and expressed enthusiasm for future academic collaboration. Both parties agreed to explore joint curriculum development aimed at aligning GIU programs with international benchmarks, with Prof. Dr. Nessar showing willingness to collaborate as an academic partner.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited GIU’s laboratories, where they observed the practical training facilities and interacted with faculty regarding hands-on learning initiatives. The visit continued to Ali Fatima Hospital, where the delegation met MS Dimple Mustafa and reviewed how the hospital integrates its services to enhance students’ clinical exposure and real-world training.

The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to advancing quality-driven academic collaboration, marking the beginning of a promising partnership between GIU and Manchester Metropolitan University.
