Advancing Good Health & Well-Being: GIU’s Free Medical & Diagnostic Camps

Green International University (GIU) successfully organized Free Medical & Diagnostic Camps to promote accessible, preventive, and community-centered healthcare. The initiative was conducted at Sher Shah Colony, Raja Jang, Gurumanat, AR Grammar School, and Green Town, aiming to enhance public health awareness and ensure equitable access to essential medical services for underserved populations.

The camps were inaugurated by Pro-Rector Professor Dr. Mubashir Munawar Khan, alongside Executive Director Operations / Controller of Examinations Dr. Zahida Maqbool and Dr. Sajid Hameed, who appreciated the university’s continued commitment to community health and social responsibility.

A wide range of free healthcare services was provided, including general medical consultations, dental and eye examinations, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, nutritional counseling, and a dedicated women’s health awareness desk. All services were delivered by qualified medical professionals with the support of GIU faculty, staff, and student volunteers.

This community health initiative reflects Green International University’s strong commitment to advancing Good Health and Well-Being (SDG-3) by emphasizing preventive care, early diagnosis, and health education. Through such outreach programs, GIU continues to strengthen university, community partnerships, enhance community resilience, and contribute to the development of healthier and more sustainable societies.
