1st International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Green International University (GIU) proudly hosted the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), titled “A Cross-Sectoral Dialogue to Foster Sustainable Societies,” at its campus. The conference reaffirmed GIU’s strong commitment to advancing the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through inclusive, collaborative, and evidence-based engagement. The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from government departments, regulatory authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), industry leaders, academia, and civil society. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions focused on key dimensions of sustainable development, including:
• Social sustainability
• Environmental stewardship
• Institutional resilience
Serving as a dynamic platform for policy dialogue, knowledge exchange, and shared responsibility, the conference enabled meaningful cross-sectoral engagement. These interactions facilitated the identification of integrated solutions and the formulation of actionable, context-specific strategies to address complex and interconnected sustainability challenges.
Through a series of panel discussions, focused group dialogues, capacity-building workshops, and international webinars, the conference translated global SDG priorities into practical local and national actions. This collaborative approach fostered implementation pathways among academia, government, industry, and civil society.

By initiating and leading this landmark event, Green International University reaffirmed its role as a convener and catalyst for sustained collaboration, strengthening partnerships and driving measurable progress toward sustainable and resilient societies.
