World Radiology Day at GIU Lahore: Seminar, Competitions & Expert Insights
Green International University Lahore celebrated World Radiology Day with an enriching seminar, showcasing advancements and innovations in the field of radiology. The event began with Model and Poster competitions, sparking creativity and enthusiasm among participants.
The seminar featured Associate Professor Dr. Raham Bacha, a renowned expert in Diagnostic Ultrasound, who delivered an insightful presentation on “Past, Present, and Future of Radiology at a Glance.” The occasion was further honored by distinguished guests, including Dr. Dimple Mustafa (MS Ali Fatima Hospital), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tariq Bhatti (Principal AUMDC), Dr. Mohsin Ali Cheema (Vice Principal AUMDC), Dr. Nazim Hayat (HOD Surgery, Ali Fatima Hospital), Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qazi (HOD Radiology, Ali Fatima Hospital), Prof. Dr. Nasir Iqbal (HOD Pathology), Dr. Memoona Khalood (Senior Registrar Radiology), and Dr. Hira Arif (Registrar Radiology), who shared their expertise and insights.
The event concluded with inspiring remarks by Rector Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Gillani, recognizing participants’ efforts and achievements. Certificates were awarded to winners of the Model and Poster competitions, followed by a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony in honor of World Radiology Day.
