Pakistan Bar Council Delegation Visits Green International University
Green International University (GIU) had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Pakistan Bar Council’s Directorate of Legal Education, led by Barrister Usama Malik, Director, Directorate of Legal Education. The delegation also included Judge (R) Ashtar Abbas, Head, Department of Law, and Prof. Dr. Sami Ur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Law (The University of Faisalabad) & Member, Madina Foundation.
The esteemed guests were warmly received by Prof. Dr. Mubbesher Munawar Khan, Pro Rector; Dr. Zahida Maqbool, Executive Director (Operations) / Controller of Examinations; and Mr. Muhammad Afzal, Executive Director, Academic & Institutional Performance.
During the visit, meaningful discussions were held on strengthening linkages between academia and the legal profession, enhancing the quality and scope of law programs, and exploring joint initiatives aimed at empowering future legal professionals.
The university leadership expressed its appreciation for the delegation’s visit and reaffirmed GIU’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, institutional growth, and advancing legal education in Pakistan.
