GIU Faculty Orientation 2025 – Day 1 Highlights

Faculty Orientation 2025 at Green International University began with warmth and enthusiasm, welcoming new faculty into the GIU community. The day featured a smooth registration led by Mr. Abu Zar Dar (Asst. Manager HR), followed by an inspiring welcome from Dr. Zahida Maqbool (Executive Director Operations), who emphasized GIU’s values of innovation, integrity, and inclusivity. Mr. Muhammad Afzal (Executive Director Academics & Institutional Performance) provided a comprehensive briefing on the academic activities of the University.
Informative sessions on university policies were conducted by Mr. An-ul-Abidin (Additional Registrar) and Mr. Muhammad Sheraz Ijaz (Deputy Registrar), offering essential guidance to the new faculty.

The orientation also featured an engaging talk on professional communication by Prof. Dr. Sajid Hameed (Head, Public Health Department), followed by an insightful session on stress and time management delivered by Prof. Dr. Mueen Ahmad Ch. (Head, Pharmacy Department).
