Empowering Sustainable Entrepreneurship through Local Community Engagement
Green International University actively supports the local community by promoting the development of financially and socially sustainable businesses. In line with this mission, the University organized Entrepreneurship Week, a dedicated initiative designed to empower students and community members through innovation-driven and impact-focused entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship Week provided participants with valuable opportunities to engage in mentorship sessions led by industry experts, participate in networking activities, and access University facilities and resources for business idea development and prototype refinement. These activities encouraged practical learning, collaboration, and the transformation of innovative ideas into viable business solutions.
A major highlight of the initiative was the second day of Green Entrepreneurship Week, which reflected the University’s strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. On this day, student- and community-led startup ideas, case studies, and business projects were formally evaluated through a structured and transparent assessment process. The evaluations were conducted by multiple external evaluators and industry professionals to ensure objectivity, fairness, and alignment with real-world market demands and sustainability criteria.
To further strengthen entrepreneurial growth, Green International University provided seed funding and financial assistance to promising startups. This support helped reduce financial barriers, promote inclusive entrepreneurship, and contribute to local economic and social development.
Through these initiatives, Green International University reaffirms its dedication to empowering local entrepreneurs, nurturing socially responsible business ventures, and fostering a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem within the community.
