GIU Lahore Celebrates World Radiology Day with Seminar
Green International University Lahore commemorated World Radiology Day with an enriching seminar that highlighted the remarkable advancements in the field of radiology. The event began with Model and Poster competitions, sparking creativity and innovation among participants.
The Guest of Honor, Associate Professor Dr. Raham Bacha, renowned for expertise in Diagnostic Ultrasound, delivered an insightful presentation on “Past, Present, and Future of Radiology at a Glance.” Distinguished guests, including Dr. Dimple Mustafa (MS Ali Fatima Hospital), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tariq Bhatti (Principal AUMDC), Dr. Mohsin Ali Cheema (Vice Principal AUMDC), Dr. Nazim Hayat (HOD Surgery, Ali Fatima Hospital), Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qazi (HOD Radiology, Ali Fatima Hospital), Prof. Dr. Nasir Iqbal (HOD Pathology), Dr. Memoona Khalood (Senior Registrar Radiology), and Dr. Hira Arif (Registrar Radiology), shared their invaluable insights during the seminar.
The seminar concluded with inspiring remarks from Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Gillani, Rector GIU, acknowledging the efforts and achievements of participants. Certificates were awarded to the winners of the Model and Poster competitions, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate World Radiology Day.
