The University has direct involvement in and input into both national governments and the regional non-government organizations for the development of SDG policy, including identifying problems and challenges, developing policies and strategies, modelling likely futures with and without interventions, monitoring and reporting on interventions, and enabling adaptive management.

In 2024, the University developed healthy relationships with various regional NGOs, i.e., Global Shapers, Nature Conservation and Protection Society (NCP) and 92 News, etc. In this regard, the University participated in forums arranged by them and gave input into the SDG policy development – including identifying problems, developing policies and strategies, modelling futures, and enabling an adaptive environment.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the Board of Governors (BOG), Green International University is a distinguished member of various national government and regional non-government bodies, including the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), the Punjab Specialized Healthcare Department, Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), and many others. The Chairman contributes significantly to advancing educational accessibility and quality, public health and well-being, gender equity, and reducing poverty and hunger.
