The University actively initiates and participates in cross-sectoral dialogues on the SDGs, including conferences involving government and NGOs.

The University promotes meaningful discussion on sustainability challenges and development priorities by hosting expert panels, academic exchanges and stakeholder consultations that support evidence-based decision-making and strengthen its role in the national and global sustainability landscape. In addition to convening stakeholders on campus, GIU actively contributes to cross-sectoral events organized by national and international partners, ensuring broader representation in sustainability discourse.

In 2024, the University arranged and hosted the 1st International Conference on Radiology and Imaging Sciences involving various organizations, NGOs and government representatives, evolving a cross-sectoral dialogue on the conference topic and its relation with / impact on other SDGs.

Further, GIU collaborated with a renowned organization COMSTECH and participated in its SDGs related, cross sectoral dialogue forums during the year.

1st International Conference on Radiology and Imaging Sciences

Green International University hosted the 1st International Conference on Radiology and Imaging Sciences in 2024 (ICRIS). The event took place on November 22-23, 2024 focusing on radiology and imaging sciences, involving a wide range of presentations and panel discussions. This landmark event brought together cross-sectoral stakeholders, including government officials, NGO representatives, international and national experts, who engaged in comprehensive discussions, cross-sectoral dialogue, insights exchange, addressing challenges, and exploring potential solutions on the conference topic and impacts on other SDGs, involving various sector including academia, industry, and societal stakeholders; therefore, made noteworthy contribution to SDGs and sustainability.
