Green International University actively engages in international collaboration and research to review comparative approaches and develop international best practices on tackling the SDGs.
Following its participation in the STEAM Conference 2023, the University strengthened its global engagement throughout 2024 and implemented an SDG-data collaboration mechanism and conducted joint research with international partners. These collaborations enabled GIU to critically examine and compare diverse international methodologies, practices and approaches for SDG data gathering, measurement, tackling, and reporting, an essential foundation for establishing international best-practice benchmarks.
Further in 2024, University expanded its international footprint by forging strategic partnerships and engaging in global SDG initiatives. During the STEAM Conference 2024 – Lahore Round, hosted at the GIU, international researchers and partners took part in dedicated review and benchmarking sessions, where global sustainability models were compared, evaluated, and the direct outcome of these sessions was the work of refined international best-practice frameworks on tackling the SDGs.
