Green International University actively participates in policymaking at the local, regional, national, and global levels to implement programs and policies to end poverty in all its dimensions. The University maintains active relationships with government bodies, social development organizations (NGOs), and local administrative units to ensure that its expertise supports policymaking and implementing to end poverty. GIU has enhanced its engagement in poverty alleviation initiatives by contributing to policy dialogues, working groups, and implementation programmes with government departments and regional organizations. In 2024, as part of these efforts, University participated in the session on policies and programmes to end poverty, on the invitation of local government office Punjab Social Protection Authority. In addition, University visited SOS Village to review compliance status with the Anti-Poverty Policy and offered recommendations.
