Green International University as a body measure the sustainability literacy of students through both curriculum-based assessments and co-curricular monitoring systems. The University incorporates sustainability-focused evaluations into examinations as the curriculum across the university is fully mapped with SDGs. In 2024, the University enhanced its sustainability literacy assessment, the University incorporated the integrated SDG-education framework in 2024, and enabled faculty to assess students knowledge through aligned course objectives with sustainability competencies, structured learning outcomes, assignments, and project evaluations. In addition, the Office of Student Affairs collects data through student clubs and societies, tracking participation in SDG-focused activities, community engagement initiatives, and sustainability-related projects. Furthermore, as a step forward, the University has considered working on Sulitest (the Sustainability Literacy Test), or any equivalent global tool for measuring and advancing student literacy.
