MESSAGE OF HOD
Our goal is to become the top educational institution in the area by equipping our students with the ability to analyze and think critically. We aim to enhance their skills in understanding and appreciating the literary and linguistic works of their own culture, as well as those from other cultures and groups. As a team, we create a dynamic academic community that is enthusiastic about expanding our students' knowledge and understanding of language and literature. This is achieved through the delivery of lectures, the organization of workshops and seminars, and the facilitation of interactions between professors and students. Our instructors support students in customizing their understanding of language and literature and helping them achieve their academic and career objectives. In a similar manner, we extend invitations to distinguished authors and lecturers to present informative lectures and readings.
Our department also offers a communication and writing skills program and encourages academic research in English studies to strengthen students’ scholarly and professional development.
