In alignment with the structural and strategic guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at Green International University (GIU) serves as a central institutional platform for strengthening the University's research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization ecosystem.
ORIC is positioned as a strategic bridge between academic research and real-world application, facilitating the translation of research findings, intellectual property, and innovative ideas into practical solutions with societal and commercial potential. Particular emphasis is placed on emerging and high-impact areas, including Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare Technologies, Computing, Social Sciences and Management Studies, Fiqh-e-Islami and Shariah, Languages and Humanities, Professional Health Technologies, and Law.
ORIC aims to support the transformation of research outcomes and intellectual property from these disciplines into patentable innovations, viable commercial products, technologies, and services that address real-world societal and market needs.
