Faculty of Law MoU Signed with Lahore High Court Bar | GIU
The Faculty of Law, Green International University Lahore proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asia's largest Bar Association, the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) on 25th July 2024 at 11:00 am at the office of the President, LHCBA.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Sami Ur Rahman, Professor & Dean, Faculty of Law, GIU Lahore, and Mr. Muhammad Asad Manzoor Butt, President, LHCBA, and was endorsed by Mr. Mian Sardar Ali Gill (Vice President LHCBA), Barrister Qadir Bakhsh Chahil (Secretary LHCBA), and Madam Falak Naz Gill (Finance Secretary LHCBA).
This MoU marks a significant milestone in promoting high standards of legal education and training future lawyers and judges. Key highlights include: 10% admission quota for sons and daughters of LHCBA members. Significant fee concessions for children of LHCBA lawyers in GIU’s LLB and BS Criminology programs. Internship and placement opportunities for GIU graduates at reputed law firms affiliated with LHCBA.Guest lectures and training by competent lawyers from LHCBA.
President LHCBA, Mr. Muhammad Asad Manzoor Butt, described this MoU as a landmark initiative, strengthening collaboration between GIU and LHCBA for the advancement of legal education and professional excellence.
