MoU signing ceremony between the Faculty of Law, Green International University Lahore and Asia's largest Bar Association, the Lahore High Court Bar Association
The Faculty of Law, Green International University Lahore has inked an MoU with Asia's largest Bar Association, the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) today on 25 July 2024 at 11:00 am in the office of the President, LHCBA. The MoU was signed by Dr. Sami Ur Rahman, Professor & Dean Faculty of Law, GIU Lahore and Mr. Muhammad Asad Manzoor Butt, President LHCBA while the MoU was endorsed by Mr. Mian Sardar Ali Gill, Vice President LHCBA, Barrister Qadir Bakhsh Chahil, Secretary LHCBA & Madam Falak Naz Gill, Finance Secretary LHCBA.
This MoU is a milestone between the GIU and LHCBA in terms of promoting high standards of legal education and training of the future lawyers and judges. This MoU gives a 10% quota to the sons and daughters of lawyers of LHCBA in admissions, while a significant amount of fee concession will also be offered to the children of lawyers in the LLB and BS Criminology programs of the GIU. LHCBA will accommodate the graduates of GIU in reputed law firms for their internships, apprenticeship and placement in the near future. LHCBA will also send competent lawyers to train the students as guest speakers. President LHCBA, Mr. Asad Manzoor Butt, declared this MoU as a great initiative and a milestone between the two organizations.
