DPT Pain Management Seminar for Students | GIU
The Department of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Green International University successfully organized a seminar on “Pain Management” on Monday, March 4, 2024. The event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fahad Tanvir, HOD Rehabilitation Sciences, and featured renowned field experts Dr. Muhammad Jamil Sabit, Dr. Waqas Ashraf, and Dr. Shahzad Anwar as key speakers.
The seminar focused on the types of pain, its effects on the human body, and effective methods to provide relief to patients. Students actively participated by asking insightful questions about pain identification, diagnosis, and treatment under various circumstances, and the experts addressed each query with thorough explanations, helping shape the knowledge of the future generation of pain therapists.
The event concluded with Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Gilani delivering the vote of thanks and presenting souvenirs to the guest speakers, acknowledging their valuable contribution to the seminar and the learning experience of the students.
